CFC59 - Round and Round

This week the CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to create a clean and simple card using two circles in your design.  With the Scorching Heat that has been blanketing most of North America this spring and summer I think I have ice cream on my mind.  I created this card for my baby who is turning 15 this coming Friday.  I finally used Melissa Bickford's Sweet as Can Be stamp set and dies to create my ice cream cone birthday card.  The two scoops of ice cream were created by die cutting the smallest Notched Flower from Papertrey.  I wrapped each scoop with co-ordinating twine and embellished with a button.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Sweet Blush, Kraft
Stamps: Sweet as Can Be
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Sweet Blush, Kraft
Dies: Sweet as Can Be, Notched Flowers
Other:   foam dots, twine (The Twinery), buttons

This is brilliant. My favorite food. And, chocolate, too. This challenge totally stumped me, so I have skipped it, but your take is just so clever. I love how you used the twine on the notched flowers, too. Very fitting for a challenge sponsored by The Twinery.

Just too cute...I am not a lover of ice cream but this almost makes me want to hop in my car and head to the nearest ice cream parlor. Such a clever way to use that notched flower too, you are so creative.

Oh Tracey, this is ADORABLE! It's easy to see why you were chosen for a CAS challenge DT--you hit this one out of the park! I love the way you wrapped up the ice cream balls with twine, and your whole card is just full of unique details!
