colourQ Challenge #124

This weeks colourQ pallete had my stumped.  I'm not sure if it is the amount of grey days we have had since Christmas or that my creative mojo was on holidays.  I couldn't wrap my head around it and was running out of time.  Friday night I started sketching some ideas, and when I went to start creating not one of them was going to work for me.  Then it hit me, I rearranged a few of my colours and it came together so easily.  The finished card put a smile on my face and now I have an encouragement card to pass on to someone who needs some.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Aqua Mist, Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush
Stamps: Flower Fusion #12
Ink: Pure Poppy (PTI), Shabby Shutters (Ranger), Memento (Tsukineko)
Dies: Tag Sale #3, Flower Fusion #12
other: Sweet Blush button (PTI), foam dots, Cotton Candy twine (The Twinery)

Love your sweet card. My favorite cards are always the seemingly simple ones that are loaded with great details -yours is one of them!

Love your card, Tracey! I know how you feel about this challenge. They are such beautiful colors, but I had a ton of embellishments all over my desk by the time I finished my card. It just took a while to finally come together. Yours is beautiful! TFS!

You may have been stumped in the beginning, but you really pulled it off. This is just so sweet and perfect for the challenge. This is the one FF I didn't get, and now I want it. How could I have passed up on those adorable plaid flowers?

These were tough colours to work out, it's a case of measuring the amounts of each you want to use isn't it!
Love your sweet tag, that's a cute and colourful flower :0)

It's a beautiful card ~ they were difficult colors to work with. You have just the right balance of colors!
