Clean & Simple Card Making - Day 4

The Day 4 topic was 'One Stamp, 3 Ways'  which really translates into finding more uses for stamps we already have.  Also getting a better return on our investments.  A number of techniques and ideas were presented and I decided to use my stamp set as a background, a die cut and an embossed image.  I did not include a sentiment on this card as when the time comes to use this card I can add a sentiment stamped on a tag or die cut or even inside the card.

Cardstock: White
Patterned Paper:  Urban Priarie 6 x 6 Paper Pad (Basic Grey)
Stamps:  Big Flowers Pattern (Hero Arts)
Ink:  Tuxedo Black (Memento)
other:  white embossing powder, foam tape

Oh, this is wonderful. I think you get an A in this class. I love the springy happy feel of this card. I am realizing that I cheated, as I only used my stamp one of those three ways....Oh, well--don't tell the teacher.

Oh, wow, what a cool card this is! I love that you reversed the color of the outline stamping for the paper pieced flower--it looks great! And stamping at an angle like that adds interest. Neat!

Oh, Tracey this is a beautiful card. I love this idea too, using what you already have. Sometimes we buy so much we don't know what to use because we get overwhelmed.I still like to buy though :) I many times do not stamp a sentiment , get a lot more use out of a card when we leave it blank until needed. I love the embossed flower too.
