I used my Queen & Company Fruit Basket Shaker Kit for my tag. I have been wanting to make a pink grapefruit shaker for a long time and I love the little pink grapefruit fillers that come with the kit! My background for the tag was created by blending Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. The cute pink grapefruit shakers were made with the kit ingredients. The yellow and pink patterned papers from the Fruit Basket 6" x 6" paper pad have pictures of tiny citrus slices on them--so cute!

When I think of Spring Flowers I always think of tulips and how I can't wait to see which of my bulbs will come up in the spring--which ones first? where will they come up? and of course how many?

So I made a tag using Lawn Fawn's Fab Flowers stamp set I love the detail of the tulip bloom!

Happy Easter!

Whatever you are doing this weekend I hope that you are spending it with your family and that spring has finally found you. I just got home yesterday from my vacation and even though it has really warmed up where I live it still feels a bit chilly compared to the warmth of Turks & Caicos-lol! 

Feeling recharged, I created a tag for challenge #85 over at Tag You're It!

Tag You're It designer and resident coffee guru Erin Thiem chose the Theme for this challenge and she actually staged and took the photo!!

I used MFT Stamps Coffee Date and Coffee Break stamps.  This is such  a fun set because you can stamp the outlines and stamp the fill images in any colour you like. You can line them up perfectly or you can  artfully misalign them! I used the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch #431.

When you add a tag at Tag You`re It you can create a card, just as long as it has a tag on it somewhere, big or small!

I stamp and coloured the Ellen Hutson Beach Lady and then added white polka dots to her dress with a white gel pen

Tag You're It Challenge #80

Happy Friday!

I am excited today to share that the Tag You're It Challenge is back up and running.

Tag You're It Challenge #80 went live this morning at 9:00 am EST. We are coming back with a few changes and we hope that you like them. The design team is back and we are welcoming alumni team member Donna Mikasa back to the challenge.

Challenge #80 is a theme challenge, Love is in the Air!

To play along you must create a tag based on how the theme inspires you or maybe on how you are inspired by the tags from our team members, just remember to let us know in your post!

I just love the cute bathing suit image that Bev used for her tag. So my translation was to create a tag with a little black dress! I used am image from the Hero Arts April Monthly Kit.  A few bright pink enamel dots and some pretty satin ribbon.

Tag You're It #73 - REMINDER

There is still time to play along with us over at Tag You're It for challenge #73!

Last week we came back from our summer break and I started the next term off with this tag using emboss/resist with Distress Oxide inks...

This week for the reminder I am CASEing my own design with this tag using the Anemone stamp set from Right at Home along with the Script Greeting dies.

If you haven't already I hope you get a chance to play along with us!

After an abrupt stop to a cold and wet summer a few weeks ago, it has actually found us this week and we have had hot and sunny days. So with a great forecast for the second weekend in a row I can hardly wait.  Have a great weekend!

What Does the Fox Say?

 Reminder there's still time to play along with Challenge #70 at Tag You're It!

I created a tag using the same set that our Featured Artist Kim Heggins used for her inspiration tag, but I used the fox! The background was created with Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks and then I splattered the tag with water.  The images were clear embossed and watercoloured with Distress Inks.

You have until Wednesday May 3rd to play along with us.
