and Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Coloring Challenge - Day 1.

I used MFT Stamps Deer Friends stamps and my Scan N Cut for the images that I coloured. I first stamped the deer with Memento Rich Cocoa ink so I could colour with my Copic markers. For my card panel heat embossed in white a couple trees from the stamp set. Then I sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for my sky andstamped my sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I adhered the deer to the panel using adhesive tape for one and foam tape for the other. The panel was adhered to the red card front. Finally I added a few Stickles filled sequins to the card front for my Merry Monday Sparkle, Shimmer & Shine!

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #236

Down to the wire for this week's Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #236!

When I saw this week's challenge was to put a stocking on your card I went through my stamps and pulled out an old Paper Smooches set that it still one of my favourites, Merry Motifs. A really CAS design that would be easy for mass producing.

I am also submitting this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog Anything Goes!

Muse ChristmasVisions #40 and Merry Monday #200

IMG_0050

One quick Christmas card for two challenges. I don't use patterned paper very often but I have so much of it. In fact I love patterned paper but personally struggle to use it. My card is inspired by Muse Christmas Visions and the 200th Merry Monday challenge.

Here is the inspiration by Chriss Blagrave for Muse Christmas Visions:

and I chose to include a snowman for Merry Monday's 200th challenge:

I use Doodlebug's Santa's Express patterned paper and Paper Smooches Cool Dudes stamps and dies for my card. My sentiment was die cut was previously die cut with white cardstock so to make it match I coloured it with Copic markers! An easy tip and I was able to use the same red I used for the snowman--all matchy matchy!
