Super Star | for Jillibean Soup

Happy Saturday!

Sharing a card I made for Jillibean Soup in September that was featured on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk Blog. I used the Super Star Stamp and Die set to create a fun shaker card using a square Insert from the Shape Shaker Series along with some papers from the 2 Cool for School collection.

A perfect masculine card for a birthday, a congratulations or just because! 

2 Cool for School | for Jillibean Soup

Time to share a couple of cards that I made this month for Jillibean Soup using the newest Too Cool for School stamps, dies and embellishments. These products for me can be used to create some really fun masculine cards for the guys in your life! Both of these cards use the matching stamp set as the focus of the card with the papers and a few embellishments as the closers.

For my first card I stamped the 'cool' banner from the 2 Cool for School stamp set repeatedly to create a custom background paper. I finished it off with Too Legit patterned paper from the background and a large Pea Pod part from the collection.

For my second card I used the 2 Cool for School stamp set once again this time randomly stamping the control button from the game controller. The sentiment was constructed from the Alphbeans stickers and the controller is from the Pea Pod parts and I used a puffy sticker to place over the game controller on it--fits perfectly!

Bohemian Brew Designs | for Jillibean Soup

Playing a bit of catch up this week. I have a couple cards that were shared on the Jillibean Soup blog last week using the Bohemian Brew collection of papers, embellishments and stamps!

This first one was stamped with the Bohemian Brew clear stamp set in colours that matched with the collection. A great way to stretch your stash!

Love making my own designs using the stamps from Bohemian Brew clear stamp set. My MISTI makes lining the stamps up so easy!

August Projects from Jillibean Soup

Sharing some projects today that were posted last week on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk Blog.

This first card features patterned paper from the 2 Cool for School Collection and the bicycle stamp from the Bowl of Dreams clear stamp set.

The second project is a tag using the Shape Shaker Balloon Tag Base along with fun paper from The Souper Celebration Collection. I created a short video tutorial to show you how I put this tag together and how easy it is to create shaker tags and cards using the Shape Shaker Series of products!

Barn Door Shape Shaker | Jillibean Soup

Happy Monday!

I have another fun card the was posted on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk blog. A fun welcome to the neighbourhood card and so easy to put together. It would look great clipped to the front of a gift bag or even along with some fresh baked goodies!

I traced the opening onto a piece of Hardy Hodgepodge/Pinch of Plants patterned cardstock and I die cut it with the co-ordinating die. I also cut a white panel slightly smaller and did the same. Then the door was stamped directly onto the white panel over top of the square cutout. I adhered the two pieces to a card base. Some other details were stamped and die cut on to the front of the card.

I added a piece of Bohemian Brew/Peace patterned cardstock to the inside of the card that you are able to see through the window! I filled the Shape Shaker Square insert and then added it into the whole adhering it to the inside. A few extras were added to the card front--the wreath and the wooden butterfly--easy peasy!

Monster Shape Shaker | Jillibean Soup

I have another fun card the was posted last week on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk blog.

The Shape  Shaker program at Jillibean Soup simplifies the task of making fun shaker cards. I thought I would share the instructions on how I made my card.

1. Sponge some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink on a Shape Shaker Small Circle card base. 
2. Once dry the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Succulents stamp set was stamp with VersaFine Onyx Black in on the the bottom of the card front.
3. Splatter some dye ink onto the card base for some extra fun!
4. Then monster's eye was stamped on the inside of the card directly behind the opening of the card base. Colour it with a blue Copic marker.
5. Stamp the monster from the Monster clear stamp & die set and then die cut it with the Monster die. 
6. Use the Monster die once again to cut the shape out of one of the journaling cards on the back of the 2 Cool for School Bite Sized Bits. 
7. Adhere the cut journaling card on to the Shape Shaker Small Circle card base that I has already been sponged over the opening. Make sure to leave and even space all around the opening.
8. Inlay the stamped and die cut monster into the journaling card.
9. To add the shaker component you will need to fill the Shape Shaker Small Circle Insert with seed bead from the Cool collection of fillers.
10. Remove the baking from the shaker and open up the card base. Place the baking into the opening (you are working with it upside down).
11. Close the card pressing to make sure the shaker it adhered all the way around.

Hugs and Kisses | Jillibean Soup

I have a quick and easy to mail get well card for you today using some Jillibean Soup products.
This card for featured last week on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk blog.

I used the Jillibean Soup Get Well stamp set to stamp my rainbow of bandaids using Lawn Fawn inks. The sentiment from the same set was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink at the bottom and the panel was trimmed out and adhered to a piece of Boys Rule patterned paper from the 2 Cool for School Collection. A cardstock sticker from the 2 Cool for School Collection was added to the top. Card done, sure to brighten someone's day and nice and flat for mailing!

Succulents | Jillibean Soup

I had this card up on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk blog a couple weeks ago. For some reason I love anything to do with succulents and I just can't get enough playing with the Succulents stamp and die set from Jillibean Soup.

Octopus Adventures | Jillibean Soup

The Octopus clear stamp and die set from Jillibean Soup is such a fun set for creating great underwater scenes. This card and process video were posted on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk blog a couple weeks ago.

I created my underwater background by first embossing some bubbles in white on Bristol Smooth cardstock. Next I sponged the background using Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. Then I flicked some clean water on to the panel and picked up some of the ink with a paper towel. Once the background was done I set it aside to dry.  All of the images were clear embossed in Versafine Onyx Black and watercoloured with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then adhered with adhesive or foam tape.

Jillibean Soup Dads and Grads

A few weeks about I had a tutorial up on the Jillibean Soup Bean Talk Blog entitled Dads and Grads. In this tutorial I had two process videos and a picture tutorial to show you how I made my cards.
