February Woodblock Wednesday

Hi there, I playing along with Amy Tsuruta's for her February Woodblock Wednesday

If I were to tell you that I opened up my boxes of woodblock stamps and I got a little lost--lol! I selected a favourite stamp, one of my first stamps, by All Night Media called Browning Poem. I always had some trouble getting a good impression but using Catherine Pooler ink in Twilight it was perfect on the first stamp. Of course I had to make sure it was straight first!

I stamped and fussy cut a Hero Arts woodblock heart called Polka Dot Heart in Catherine Pooler's Rockin' Red. A Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle and some foam tape and the card came together easily!

Thanks so much for stopping in. Hope you join me tomorrow for Scrap N' Stamp Canada's February Inspiration Hop!

Have a great day

A gorgeous woodblock stamp that would sit out on a shelf somewhere in my studio, Tracey! I love your card and that darling polka-dotted heart!

You had me with the sweet polka dot heart! Love this, Tracey! It's fun to pull out the old woodblock stamps and amazing to see how some of the newer inks work so much better with them!
