Birthday's and Butterflies

I hope this finds you having a great start to the week!

My birthday card stash is always running low and I have managed to get myself back to making cards when I need them! Does this story sound familiar--lol? I have decided moving forward that I need to make cards that are useful--birthday's, thank you, sympathy and of course friendship! Ideally, making cards in multiples. It is always easier to make two or more cards at once.

This card is an easy one to make with the Pinkfresh Butterglies stamps, dies and stencils! I started out clear embossing with black Versafine ink and then using the stencils with Distress Oxide inks, listed below. Once the stenciling was done I die cut the butterfly and set it aside. The background is the new Catherine Pooler Cross Your X's Cover Plate die cut in white and glued directly to a white card base. I slightly folded the butterfly in the centre and glued it to the card base right along the body. I bent the wings up a bit so that it gives the card more dimension when it is being displayed.

The sentiment is from the same set and I white embossed it on black cardstock and added it with a bit of narrow foam tape.

Thanks for stopping in today!

I normally have quite a few cards made ready to hand, but that is not the case at the moment, so I need to get cracking!
