String Art Hugs

Happy Friday!

Lots going on here this weekend. Tomorrow we are moving my daughter to Québec where she is starting her first teaching job on Tuesday. She has been away at University for 5 years now, but here was still home. Home for the holidays, home for the summers, home for a break--just home.

We are so proud of her, but my baby is leaving the nest and I'm struggling with it a little bit. So, I'm taking a deep breath and have to trust that I've done my job and prepared her for the world. I am very thankful she is heading off to teach kindergarten in a small community that is relatively safe, as anywhere can be these days with Covid.

Anyway lets get to why you are here.
I have a post up on the Birch Press Design blog today. Full details about my card are over on the Birch Press Design blog and I  hope you have a chance to visit and say hello!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hang in there mama, your baby bird is spreading her wings. Your home will always be home to her. Sending you a big hug and lots of love!

Yep, it must be hard to see your daughter moving away, Tracey ... though what a proud time too. You helped her grow those wings she's about to fly with ... and prepared her for life's great adventures. Wishing her well in her new role! Gorgeous card ... rich and luxurious and wonderfully texture-y! Hugs, Anita :)
