Happy Monday and welcome to the first day of SugarPea Designs Summer 2017 Product Release sweet peeks!
We hope that you will join us over the next 5 days as we share sweet peeks of new products that will be available for purchase on Friday, June 16th at 6:00 pm (EST).
Today the team is showcasing four new products we think are going to make you think summer.
I have many fond summer memories of camping all over Canada and the U.S. with my children when they were growing up. Always a highlight of these trips were campfires under the moonlight and making smores.
For my first card today I began with this fabulous starlit sky patterned paper from the new Happy Camper Paper Pad. One of the great features of the SugarPea Designs paper pads is that they are the exact size of an A2 card which makes creating a base layer super easy. Next I used the new TreeScape SugarCut die to create my night time tree line with black cardstock. I used Easily A'Moose'd Stamps and Easily A'Moose'd SugarCuts to create my campfire scene. I stamped the images with Copic friendly ink and coloured them with Copic markers. The moose, the marshmallow stick and the hedgehog with popped up with foam tape for dimension.. The campfire was painted with Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle. Finally I stamped and white embossed the sentiment directly onto the background paper.

For my second card I used the same products again. This time I cut two rows of trees in two shades of green for depth to create my scene about the plans the moose has for the rest of the day!

These are adorable Tracey! I like the night sky on the first one and the darling scene you created. The grove of tress on the second looks terrific. I had childhood camping vacations too. So many wonderful memories!!
