Inspired by All the Little Things #9

IMG_9998

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend!
We had a pretty quiet weekend. My hubby is heading up a project in Michigan and is going to be home on the weekends as the drive isn't too long. So that makes me happy that we don't have to cram everything we need to do into a one visit home once a month.

A new challenge started yesterday at Inspired by All the Little Things and this week we have inspiration chosen by the lovely Lesley Croghan! Check out this gorgeous piece:

I was so inspired by the colours and pulled out Essentials by Ellen, Bold Blooms stamps and dies to play.  That is the first set I purchased from Ellen Hutson and I think I love it as much now as when I first got it.   I watercoloured a panel using colours from the inspiration and then I die cut a few flowers and leaves. I watercoloured my background with a soft blue and then stamped my sentiment and adhered the flowers and leaves around it. A few sprays of Sparkle Sheer Shimmer mist, some sequins and then a bit more sparkle with Wink of Stella. The whole panel was adhered to the card base with foam tape. It's fun sometimes to spend a whole afternoon just creating and seeing where it takes you.

I hope you can find some time to come over and play with us this week!
