I'm Tickled Pink - April '15

Can you believe that is't the end of April?
This month just flew by for me, there has been so much going on and here we are with another installment of The 12 Kit of Occasions!

This month I had the pleasure to be the hostess of the "I'm Tickled Pink" kit. I chose Doodlebug Design's Hello Sunshine as my paper to base the kit around. I stamped and die cut as many flowers as I could with as many shades of pink I could find in my stash.

This month I asked my sweet friend Suzanne Dahlberg to be my guest! Suzanne was part of the original team back when it was called The 12 Kits of Holidays!

Lets get on with the projects...

Be sure to check out the cards made by the rest of the team, I'm sure you will love all of their amazing talent.
We are basically at two week's into the strike and no sign yet of a settlement.  As much as Brooklyn feels done with high school she wasn't ready for the abrupt stop.  No one will be held back but finishing out high school properly for Brooklyn is important.  Leadership camp will likely be cancelled, prom is now only a month away and graduation is in June. I hope for her sake they are back soon--it would be nice to finish it right.
Love having her home though, this week we got her shoes for prom and Friday she has an appointment for her dress fitting.  This picture does not do the shoes justice, but they are so cute!

Wow, Tracey. If you really started last night when you told me you were, this array of cards is even more impressive than ever. I love each and every one of them, especially the one with the three feathers. Wish I had thought of that one. Enjoy your time with Brooklyn. I know it must be terrible, but a teeny tiny little itty bitty piece of me is kind of jealous of you guys right now.

Tracey, thank you so very much for inviting me to join the group this month. I loved your kit - I can tell how much thought went into it, for sure. Everything was perfectly stamped too! I hope that your daughter had fun at her fitting! How'd it go? Those shoes are stunning - I can really wear shoes like that (my feet hurt just looking at them!) so I am jealous of her!

As for your beautiful cards - where do I begin?! I really love the first one, with the circle embellished with flowers. They are all so perfectly 'you' - hugs, sweet friend!!

This was such an awesome kit, so cheery, I just loved the colors, and those feathers I think were my favorite, so no surprise that the feather card you made is my favorite! I love how you did the 3 together like that, and of course the sentiment is perfect for it :) I think my next favorite is the circle card with the flowers for Mother's Day. The banner card with the flowered paper is a close runner up (although its impossible to pick with all the beauty you have displayed!). Thanks for an awesome kit :) The shoes for your daughter are beautiful, I bet they go with an awesome dress! I really hope the strike is over now as it has been a couple of weeks!

Tracey, you wow me again and again. I can't believe how much I love your little flower sequins. I'm not a pink girl, but this kit may have changed my mind. I adored it! I'm pretty much planning to downright copy your floral bouquet card and your happy birthday card with my leftover supplies. They are perfection. (PS Love Brooklyn's shoes, too!)
