Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash: One Challenge

IMG_7352

Happy Friday! Are you happy to see the weekend here?

I am pushing time along a bit, looking forward to my hubby coming in this week. It may seem like the New Year just happened, but I haven't seen him since New Years Day so it will be nice to have him home for a few days. Then he goes back for a week and then home again for a holiday. We are taking an impromptu trip to Florida. We were able to work out the timing by tying it into the February Family Day week, so Brooklyn will only miss 4 days of school and Ben in on a his reading week--his girlfriend is coming with us as well. I hate to think this is our last family vacation, but seeing how busy life has gotten with the kids grown up and Brooklyn off to university next year we need to grab opportunities when we get them. So off to Orlando, where we rented a villa about 15 minutes from Disney. You are never too old for that.

Okay onto my card. My card is for Winnie & Walter`s 1st Birthday Bash: One Challenge with Shay.  I used one image, one colour, one technique (embossing--clear and silver) and one layer. The image was clear embossed with Silvery Shimmer Delicata ink and the sentiment embossed with silver embossing powder. Of course the camera was playing hide and seek with the embossing, but it does look lovely in person.

So glad your hubby will be home and your vacation sounds great. I'm right there with you on thinking about the family vacations; we're a ways off from everyone being gone but you look up and they are all gone! Love your tone on tone card!
