Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash - Distress Inks

IMG_7378

Another card for the Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash.
This one is for Mayuri's Distress Inks & Patterns Challenge

I started off with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock. I sponged Distress Ink over the Scenery Triangled Creative Screenings--Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry. After I finished sponging I die cut the panel with a stitched mat die. I love how water reacts with Distress Inks so I flicked some water on the panel--don't you love it when one of your flicks is more like a Tsunami? Ugh! Really love these colours together though.

  1. I'm giggling at the thought of your card seeing a tsunami coming at it!! Only thing more scary to a card would be fire, I believe : )

Gorgeous shading on your card, Tracey! It's so cheerful!

  18. This is why I like you. You take something that could be so clean and pristine and give it just that tiny hint of imperfect grunginess. Keep it up because it's gorgeous!
