Another card for the Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash.
This one is for Mayuri's Distress Inks & Patterns Challenge
I started off with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock. I sponged Distress Ink over the Scenery Triangled Creative Screenings--Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry. After I finished sponging I die cut the panel with a stitched mat die. I love how water reacts with Distress Inks so I flicked some water on the panel--don't you love it when one of your flicks is more like a Tsunami? Ugh! Really love these colours together though.
I am welcoming Lena as my newest follower today, all the way from Norway!
I'm giggling at the thought of your card seeing a tsunami coming at it!! Only thing more scary to a card would be fire, I believe : )

ReplyDeleteSo very pretty Tracey! Love the inky background!
ReplyDeleteThis is why I like you. You take something that could be so clean and pristine and give it just that tiny hint of imperfect grunginess. Keep it up because it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love all the color on this!
ReplyDeleteLove the triangle pattern and how you blended your inks with all those pretty colors! Great idea to add the flicks of water, too...it's perfect!

ReplyDeleteOh my...you tsunami-flick comment has me giggling out loud (getting the *look* from my husband). You're hilarious! I wouldn't have even noticed this, so in my books, this is flicker fantastic, triangle terrific, and sponging splendid! Joy achieved!
