25 Days if Christmas Tags - Day 16

Here we are at Day 16!
Today is also my 1100th post, I think I have made a few cards.

Yesterday morning we woke up to snow, far too early for snow. We usually don't see it here before Christmas. Totally unprepared and had to search the garage for the snow brush in the morning before I even had a coffee. It snowed all day and it was beautiful, but like I said too early!

Keep loading your tag creations to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Flickr Group, they look fantastic.

As we move through the 25 days you have a new opportunity to enter for the prize draw every single day! The main prize draw HERE has five opportunities for you to enter and all the other days from Day 2 on you have one opportunity a day.  You also have an opportunity every day to visit my guests and comment on their blog posts for yet another chance. As long as you enter on or before November 27th 11:59 pm EST and follow the entry guidelines.

Today's guest is Barb Engler, you will know her from her blog Enjoying Life! Barb is the hostess of the Simon Says Flickr Group HERE. She is never afraid to try new techniques and and get her hands inky. Make sure when you visit her blog you have a look around and don't forget to comment for another chance to win one of the prizes.  Here is the fabulous shaker tag she created for today...

Today is also a new Cue Card at CASology!
This week's Cue is:

For my tag I created a little scene for my snowman using embossing paste  and a stitched hills die cut. The snowman was popped up with a bit of foam tape, the let it snow on his flag was heat embossed in white.  The embossing paste adds texture and interest to the scene without adding distraction. I put a bit of Star Dust Stickles on the pom pom of his hat for a bit a sparkle. The second photo shows it a bit better.
