Happy Thursday!
I don't have a card to share today.
I do have a picture of the last day of high school for Ben.
After I took this he grabbed his skateboard and headed down the street, I am going to be a blubbering mess next week at his Commencement. Have a great day!
Congrats on the graduation. It's hard when they fly, but that's what good parents do -- we raise our children to be proper, independent adults. Just knowing that doesn't make it any easier when that time comes. Hang in there. The love you have for your children only grows and deepens, and it works in the other direction too. Bev
ReplyDeleteOh Tracey! Time certainly flies. Congrats to your son! Looking forward to seeing pictures from next week too '
ReplyDeleteAwww Tracey, you'll get through it, it's a big day in both of your lives, but you'll get through it. Look at him with his cool shades rockin the last day as a senior!! Brings back memories of a certain young man I know ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Ben!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it ridiculous when you realise your baby is in actual fact a man! My daughter is about to fly the nest too so I'm sending a hug of solidarity! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteAww I know just how you feel! Congrats to you , hubby and Ben! Your heart will burst with joy and pride! Great job! Wonder if they have any clue how much we love them, I guess not until they have their own.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Ben and to you too Tracey for raising a great son!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Ben...this is such an exciting time in his life! You will be a blubbering mess next week, so bring lots and lots of tissue!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Ben! Great photo--be sure to post some of the big event!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Ben & YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the blubbering...I made it through everything until I hugged my girl in the parking lot because she was going to go out with her friends...oy, that's when I started to cry and honestly, I didn't want to let go of her....it's all good:)
Congratulations Ben...and Mom :)
ReplyDeleteI've never had children so I don't know what this is like, but my sister-in-law explained parenthood to me..."when you have a child, your heart leaves your body and lives in theirs. everywhere they go, everything they do...your heart is with them." blubber away :) hugs to you!
Congrats! I hope my Ben will lead the same successful road of graduation! He looks very grown up :)
ReplyDeleteAwww. :-) Hugs to you, my friend!! These children all grow up way too fast, in my opinion. I hope you enjoy the Commencement, though, and best of luck to him on the new phase of life coming up! I enjoyed the pic. ;-)
