Yay it is Saturday and from the sound of it it is finally warming up everywhere.
As my Canadian friends will all be familiar with the first treat of the season:
The white panel was embossed and then cut with the Lil' Inkers Stitched Mat. The tag and butterfly are popped up with foam tape.
We hope that you come and play along with us this week at Dynamic Duos.

Since it has been so nice this week my Canadian friends (and a few American friends too) will appreciate the first treat of the season. A Timmies Ice Cap!

ReplyDeleteHey there Dynamo!!! Very pretty card for your debut, always love a fluttery butterfly! My warm day treat was lunch out with my son yesterday. He treated to A&W...does a root-beer float count as lunch LOL That's all I wanted and it was mighty tastey ;)
ReplyDeleteLove our first post on your new design team!!! Great focal point! Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card--a great "debut" for you with Dynamic Duos! Congratulations to you on your new position. :)
ReplyDeleteLiving in Minnesota, I'm not far from Canada, so I know exactly how you all feel when you finally go and get that first icy drink - as a matter of fact, two days ago I went and picked up my first of the season - a caramel frappuccino - yum!
ReplyDeleteYou ROCKED your first DT assignment, Tracey - that card is so beautiful! Happy weekend to you!
Awesome job on your very first post. But, we all know that you are a pro! This card is so simple and perfect--one of those--why didn't I think of that--types of cards.
ReplyDeleteTracey, this is so beautiful! I love those colors and the sweet butterfly, is one that I need to add to my wish list. It is so delicate with the soft yellow, love it! Ok, I have not a clue what a Timmies Ice Cap is, so you will need to share, please.
ReplyDeleteMmmm...ice caps. LOVE them! Your card is delightful Tracey and as always, you make me want that lil inker die. I love what you do with it! Enjoy some nice weather. It is glorious here!
ReplyDeleteI love how you impressed the white mat and also used the stitched die around it. Looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOf course you rocked your debut! Love your card.
ReplyDeleteWow Tracey! I love the fresh clean lines of this card. So crisp...not sure how else to describe it. That butterfly just pops right off the card. Love it!

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card! I love the stripes and that sweet butterfly. Also.... MMMMmmmm Ice Cap!
ReplyDeleteI just love the cleandesign and the lovely layers, Tracey! The scored stripes add such a gret touch, too. So glad to have you on the DD team! I finally had a chance to try Tim Hortons when we went back home to NY about a year ago. I had heard everyone saying how much they loved their coffee and we were not disappointed at all. Wish there was one here! :)
ReplyDeleteThe embossed stripe panel is so pretty, a perfect backdrop to the label and butterfly! I'm definitely in iced coffee mode these days, but I only get Tim Horton's when I'm traveling, as we don't have one close to us. Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteOooooh! I love these Lil' Inker dies! I want one too!!!! You are totally making me want to get them!!!
