MFW Card Creations Week: Emphasize the Negative Challenge & JUGS #179

I have a card tonight for the Moxie Fab World Card Creations Week Emphasize the Negative challenge.  We may still have a lot of snow here in Toronto and the temperature is still hovering around zero, but i have spring on my brain!  So I had no problem breaking out some sunny paper and butterfly dies to create my card.

I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamps A Bit O'Green challenge and the Just Us Girls technique challenge.

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted.

Cardstock:  Summer Sunrise
Patterned Paper: Hello Summer (Echo Park)
Stamps: Egg Hunt
Ink:  True Black
Dies: Beautiful Butterflies, Heart Borders (PTI) Sentiment Flag (Lil' Inkers)
other: foam tape

Tracey-this card screams spring! I love it. I love how the DSP is your focal point and the negative is solid paper. I usually do it the other way around. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

This is absolutely adorable! I just got this magazine last night and haven't had a chance to look at it yet. But from looking at this, I think it's going to be great! I love the Lil' Inkers dies with the embossed stitching on them! I looked in on them once for the rectangular ones...quite pricey! But it's on my wish list! heehee :)
