Papertrey Ink Blog Hop December '12

Today is Boxing Day in Canada.  Boxing Day is a statutory holiday, meaning everyone has the day off work.  It is also the Canadian 'Black Friday", the Boxing Day blowout sales and the best prices as well as the biggest day for retail of the year.  I don't plan on going shopping today, I am pretty much shopped out after Christmas, but my daughter is being picked up by a friend at 8:15 in the morning to hit the mall and find some deals!

It was such a wonderful Christmas this year with time spent with family, good times and good food.  This year we had some good news to celebrate.  My nephew and his wife announced the arrival of their first child this July, I am going to be an aunt again for the 22nd time!  Another nephew and his girlfriend got engaged on Christmas Eve.

So my white on white card for the December Papertrey Blog Hop is for them.

The background is embossed with the Simple Stripes Impression Plate and the two hearts are embossed  in white and adhered to the card with foam tape.

Enjoy the rest of the Hop!

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock:  White
Stamps: Heart Prints, Love & Marriage
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark (Tsukineko)
IP: Simple Stripes
other: rhinestone

Tis is so simple and elegant, I love it. I am glad for the extra day off for my hubby, but no way I would venture into the malls... Like you. Aid, I am shopped out! I will go out in a few days and see what's left over for wrapping paper and stocking stuffers!

Tracey I love this white on white.
I tried to email you but the link wouldn't work. My son is living with a friend in Canmore but the rig site is in Didsbury. He was just recently in Edson. He is the newbie on their team so he does all the gopher and grunt work.
