Another fantastic CAS sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch, this week's sketch is designed by Lisa Arana. Lisa has a really good video on her blog this week where she describes how she tackles sketches in her card designs.
I broke out my new Papertrey Mistletoe & Holly stamp set to create this CAS Christmas card. I will usually use coloured cardstock or patterned paper as a background on a card where the focal panel is white, I chose Simply Chatreuse and Pure Poppy. I put the Pure Poppy between the green base and the white because I knew I was going to stamp my mistletoe off the white and I didn't want it to bleed right into the background. After I stamped my focal panel I embossed it with the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate. I love that it gives the card a bit of texture but the impression isn't too heavy where it overpowers the design.
All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:
This is stunning Tracey! I love the clean lines and the fresh, bright colours.
