colourQ challenge #139 - Card 2

Hi second post today, that what happens on a rainy day.  I created a Father's Day card with this weeks colourQ palette.  Perfect colours for a masculine card.  This was also a chance to play with Melissa Bickford's World's Greatest stamp set.  My daughter was the one who initially cracked it open.  There are so many excellent sentiments in this set for creating masculine cards.

I started off with an Enchanted Evening card base that I embossed with white.  For the focal point I used Tag Sale #3 and then created a chevron design using the new chevron dies in the other colours from the palette.  I topped if off with a popped up tie.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Spring Rain, Autumn Rose, Enchanted Evening, Fine Linen Paper Pack
Stamps: World's Greatest
Ink: Classic Kraft (PTI), Versamark (Tsukineko)
Dies: Chevrons, Tag Sale #3, World's Greatest
Other:  foam dots, white embossing powder (Stampendous)

    Rainy days are the best crafty days...
    you can't get anything else done so at least have fun! :)

    Love that chevron tag and tie...

    Love how you turned the tag into a shirt ( kinda) , great idea, love the inside too.After Joyce's kit I decided I need this tag. Great card!
