CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #55 - Put a Bling On it

This weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge is to create a project with a little sparkle.  I broke out Melissa Bickford's new Flipping Out stamp set and dies for this one.  I use Papertrey's Background Basics Farm & Barn to create a boardwalk type background on my Soft Stone card base with Soft Stone ink.  I can't even tell you how much I love the detail of this stamp.  Then I went to work at the flip flop factory creating soles, straps, flowers and heart accents in a bunch of bright summery colours.  A big happy sun, edged with stickles for some bling and the flower centre of my flip flops adorned with a gemstone--pop on a sentiment and done.  This card is to wish everyone a 'Happy Summer'!

This morning we filled our bird feeder after the rain and really high winds yesterday and we had visits from sparrows, chickadees, blackbirds, starlings, a blue jay (who is much faster than the camera!) and our first ever Cardinal who posed regally for the camera.  The bird feeder is empty already, the birds eat more than teenagers!  lol
