On my original one layer card I was able to use the generational stamping technique that was demonstrated in Make It Monday #60 by Ashley Cannon Newell and this week by Betsy Velman.
For my stepped up card I added some Raspberry Fizz Patterned paper with a scalloped top border using a strip die cut from the Hearts Border die, Mat Stack 1 and Layerz Mat Stack 1 and Rosie Posie stamped on to the co-ordinating die cuts and adhered with foam dimensional tape and squares.
All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:
Cardstock: White, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest
Patterned Paper: Raspberry Fizz Paper Pack
Stamps: Rosie Posie, Mat Stack 1, Think Big Favourites #13
Ink: Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Green Leaf, Tuxedo Black Memento (Tsukineko)
Dies: Rosie Posie, Hearts Border, Mat Stack 1, Layerz Mat Stack 1
other: foam tape, foam squares
GREAT job on both challenges Tracey! Your basic card is so pretty and your layered version is simply elegant. I need to add the orange zest ink to my next order...it's the prettiest orange ink I've seen!!
ReplyDeleteI love how your Rosie Posie cluster looks inside Mat Stack - great job!
ReplyDeleteI really love the colors, you did a great job with that color combo. And your stamping is wonderful!! I love all the pretty orange and pink!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards :)
ReplyDeleteI'm all about a great CAS card. I love both cards...but I have to say the pop of those pink stipes is great. That's the one color I didn't get. Looks like it will be added to my next order.
ReplyDeleteI think they both look great. I love the one layer. The second card is gorgeous, I guess a few more layers is even better. The stripes and colors are beautiful! I never had time for this one.
ReplyDeleteI'm back!!! And I'm so far behind I may never get caught up, but I wanted to be sure to let you know how much I have enjoyed the cards you have made since I last visited. You have really been turning out some outstanding work!!! Totally loved the way you did the bold colors in the cQc card; the lavender and pale green coffee cup card (Color Throwdown) is such a perfect CAS card (you do them SO well!); your "Apple of my Eye" card is so cute, it makes me want that set (that happens a lot when I see your cards!); the "Opposites Attract" card is yet another perfect CAS take on the challenge! And I LOVE how you have paired the hexagons from Rosie Posie (hey--I could try that!) with the rickrack die cut! Then the darling CAS-ual Fridays card with the cute little frames, and this set of cards using Rosie Posie--great job on the challenges! Just love Rosie Posie done in these bold colors. Thanks for brightening my day!
ReplyDeleteEveryone is having so much fun with these stamps! Just beautiful! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright fun card. I like both versions. I wish I had time to do one of these--they really look like they were a lot of fun. Those colors look really wonderful together, and with the Rosie Posie set.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are very pretty. ;-) I'm a sucker for clean and simple, so I love the first one, but the second is just as lovely. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards Tracey! I can't decide which one I like best, they are both beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful combination of challenges, this is one of my favourite PTI sets and your cards are so very pretty! Thanks so much for joining in the fun with us over at The Play Date Cafe this week!
