MIM #48: Creating Backgrounds with Border Dies - Just the Ticket

I created a second card for this weeks MIM using my Just the Ticket Stamps and Die.  This idea has been floating around in my head for a long time, but using it as a Valentines creation is perfect.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush
Stamps:  Just the Ticket, Flower Fusion #7
Ink: Pure Poppy, Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Dies: Just the Ticket, Flower Fusion #7
other: foam dots, red button, pink bakers twine
Pin It

Love this one too, cleaver, cleaver use of that die. I guess I don't have too many PTI boarder dies ,just Martha Stewart ones.

Great use of this die (don't have, I have the Tim Holtz one so I just might try something similar) What a great card for Valentine's day!

This is amazing. I haven't watched the video yet, but was wondering if those tickets would look good with that technique. Now I know!

Tracey, this is so cute! I love the monochromatic color scheme, and the 2 tickets in red as the focal point is perfect!

Very nice! I love all those tickets in the background with the pop of red in the focal tickets. And very clever use of the Flower Fusion under the button! A lovely Valentine card. ;-)
