100th Post & CAS-ual Fridays CFC37

I just realized that this is my 100 th post.  Holy Cow, it crept up on me so fast.  So I guess I'm not a newbie anymore.  Here to many more to come.  :)

This weeks CAS-ual Friday challenge is sponsored by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I was brave this week and cut in one of my coveted pieces of designer paper from October Afternoon.



Cardstock: Vintage Cream (PTI)
Designer Paper:  Fly a Kite - Garden (October Afternoon)
Stamps:  Birthday Messages (PTI)
Dies:  Filigreee Border (PTI)
Ink:  Chocolate Brown (PTI)
other:  orange pearls (Prima), black embossing powder

    I LOVE October Afternoon too Tracey and sigh sometimes when cutting LOL!! Great take on this sketch. Love the pretty filigree border!

    Great take on the challenge. That PP looks great with the filigree die. Good for you for being brave about your PP. I need to get braver soon, or I will be overrun.

    Oh, how CUTE! I love the way you made the banner with an ornate die cut--great idea! I had to laugh at your comment about cutting into the new paper. I feele the same way sometimes, but after all, it's there to serve us, right? You can't take it with you!

    Oh, I love this, Tracey. ;-) The colors and the patterns, you did a fabulous job on this sketch. I had a hard time creating with it, because of the offset on the side. Love how you pulled it off! ;-)
