Create Together with Marcie Sharp

This is the second post for November with Marcie for Create Together. So thrilled that we were able to meet in real life to exchange our half made cards!

This time I remembered to take a photo of Marcie's card before I finished it! She prepared a card base with different strips of patterned paper that was die cut with this funky scalloped rectangular. I decided to create another birthday card, I just never seem to have enough! I kept my additions pretty simple, black silhouettes of birthday candles and a black sentiment both from MFT Stamps Make a Wish.

Today I used both the photo inspiration and the sketch. I really wanted to capture the inspiration photo, the dark grey door and the red and green wreath. The stamped my wreath on the card front in VersaMark and then clear embossed it. The sentiment was stamped also in VersaMark and embossed with white. The other elements were stamped and adhered with foam tape.
