Tag You're It #51 - REMINDER

Happy Friday!
Hope that you have fun plans for the weekend.

We have good friends coming to visit and Saturday Night we are going on a Sunset Dinner Cruise of the Muskoka Lakes on a steam ship--Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau and Lake Joe. The weather forecast for Saturday is looking very good.

There is still time to play  along at Tag You're It #51 where we had Donna Mikasa as our Featured Designer this challenge. You have until Wednesday 9:00 am EST. Challenge yourself to see how Donna's gorgeous tag inspires you.

I used an older Clearly Besotted stamp set for my Ice Cream cone. All the colour was added with my ZIG Clean Color marker's for the background, to colour the pink cone after I white heat embossed the swirl and then I coloured directly on the stamps for the cone and the cherry. I added Wink of Stella to the ice cream and cherry, added a strip of silver glitter paper behind the cone and a few sequins.

This is also for Day 11 of Kathy Racoosin's 5th 30 Day Coloring Challenge!

Hope you find time to join us!

CCC #206

It's time for a new cue card at CASology!

This week`s new cue is:

I stamped my image using VersaFine onyx black on watercolour paper and then used my Gansai watercolours to colour the flowers in pink and orange and the leaves in green. This gives a somewhat formal image an artistic look.

Have a look on the CASology blog to see what the rest of the team has made to inspire you.

colourQ #350

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for this week's new colour palette at the colourQ.

I created a collage of images from MFT Stamps and coloured them with Copic markers. The yellow flowers only were covered with Wink of Stella. The sentiment was cut with white cardstock and coloured then covered with Wink of Stella! I used MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch  Challenge #288.

This is also for Day 9 of Kathy Racoosin's 5th 30 Day Coloring Challenge!

Muse #174

Happy Monday!
It's time for this week's challenge over at Muse.

I am the hostess this week and I have obviously got all things camping on my mind. I sponged some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto a MFT Stamps Wonky Stitched Rectangle. The images from Warm & Fuzzy Friends were stamped, coloured using Copic markers and die cut for my scene. I spritzed a bit a water onto the Distress Ink for a bit of interest and added some Wink of Stella to the campfire flames. Then the entire panel and all the images were popped up with foam tape on to the card base.

This is also for Day 7 of Kathy Racoosin's 5th 30 Day Coloring Challenge!

I can't wait to see how my card inspires you this week. Will it be the images, the theme or summer activities?

Happy Birthday Brooklyn

I have a card today to share with you that I made for my daughter 19th birthday!
Oh they grow up too fast, I love this girl so much and she has become such a lovely young woman! She is now able to legally order a drink in a restaurant and buy in the liquor store. So I guess it is bye bye to my designated driver because now the DD is going to be me--ha ha!

I used my brand new stamps and dies from MFT Stamps Make a Wish June kit for my card. Love the fun possibilities and ease of using this kit!

She loves the colour pink and glitter so pink candles and glitter for my girl!

Have a wonderful weekend!

CCC #205, FT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #287 and Color Challenge #48

It's time for a new cue card at CASology!

This week`s new cue is:

I stenciled my chevron background with blue distress ink, I must have taken my photo 20 times and played around with it in Photoshop to make it stand out in the photo like it does in real life. Squint a bit and you'll see it--lol! and I stamped the leaf image over the stenciled background and then I added the flower popped up with foam tape! I added some Wink of Stella to the flower centre and then added my sentiment.

I am also submitting this to the MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge #287 and the Color Challenge #48!

colourQ #349

Happy Tuesday!
My American friends I hope your 4th of July was fabulous!
It's time for this week's new colour palette at the colourQ.

I used Essentials by Ellen Bohemian Garden to stamp my flowers randomly on the top left of my card base using my MISTI to place each image. I added the sentiment from Mondo Hydrangea to the bottom right and finished it off with a few clear sequins.

Hope to see you play along this week!
