Seize The Birthday #261: Anything Goes

Hi there and thanks for stopping by today. Trying to use stamps that have purchased but have not seen ink just yet! I had a birthday card to make and I used products that fell into that category from Lawn Fawn. Really High Five stamps and dies and papers from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad were so much fun to use. Images were coloured with the following Copic markers:

BG13, BG32, BG11, RV10, RV13, RV21, Y13, Y15, Y17, E00, E21, E33

Submitting this to Seize the Birthday #261!

Thanks for stopping in today!

Color Hues #64

We have a new color duo over at the the Color Hues Color Challenge for Challenge #64!

To

The background is the Big Plans background stamp stamped with Catherine Pooler Black Jack ink which is the perfect dark grey ink colour. I used the Dad Squared stamps and the Dad Squared Dies for the focal sentiment stamped with

All of the products I used are listed below with clickable links for your convenience. The clear stamps and dies I used today just happen to be on CLEARANCE right now at the Greetery!

So grab yours before they are gone!

The overlay sentiment is such a fun addition. I bet it would look great gold heat embossed!

The two tiny sentiments are from the Sentiment Squared stamp set. I made my own matching cardstock using Catherine Pooler Orange Peel and Apricot ink pads direct to paper.

I'm submitting this to Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and if you haven't been there already, please stop over to the Color Hues Color Challenge. My fabulous teammates have made some fabulous cards using this this modern farmhouse colour palette.

Color Hues #63

We have a new color duo over at the the Color Hues Color Challenge for Challenge #63!

My card was not planned, it just happened--lol!
I think all crafters know how that goes. It all started with foiling! I rarely throw away the  negative piece of foil after foiling. I recently bought the PinkFresh Solid rectangle foil die so that I could use up those pieces to create solid foiled backgrounds.

I had already foiled the Lawn Fawn Clouds foil plate with cyan foil, that card is at the end of this post. I chose to use the negative from the foiled paper as my first attempt with the PinkFresh Solid rectangle foil die. When I peeled the foil off of the background paper, what was left was magic...and that my friends was the start of my card for this week!

My piece of foil had been completely used, no waste! The panel was cut with the Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched dies and the rest of the die cuts are from Lawn Fawn's Fly High stamp set. Images were coloured with Copic Markers.

I added some prisma glitter to the hot air balloon and it's banner.

Trying to capture the shine from the foil and the glitter is tricky.

I have loved using new goodies from Lawn Fawn's spring release this year.

I used the original foiled piece to make a second card, this one is a shaker.

Being able to use every piece of foil completely makes this die one of my must haves. If you foil, I highly recommend it!

Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you head over to the Color Hues Color Challenge to see what the rest of the team has made, you will not be disappointed!
