Hi there, over the weekend I had a chance to play with some new to me PinkFresh stamps and dies.
I chose to use the colors from the Color Hues Color Challenge #23.
For my first card I used the stamps and the co-ordinating stencils to shade my butterfly pink and yellow.
The second card I did also with pink and yellow but I only used the stencils, with gave me a pinky peach colour through the centre of the butterfly! The sentiment was foiled in gold but you can't see it in the picture.
Thanks so much for stopping in today!
Both butterflies are beautiful! Gold is such a hard color to photograph, especially metallic ones. It's always amazing to me (after all these years) what different looks you can achieve with one stamp! So nice to see you at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, Tracey! I love this butterfly, it looks amazing in these colors! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues! ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove these so much, Tracey! Love the sentiment a lot on the first card! So happy you had time to get inky and play along at Color Hues! You sure made the colors shine! Have a wonderful rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteThese are both so pretty! I like that you can make the butterfly with or without the stamping - and it looks equally great both ways! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!

ReplyDeleteHi Tracey~ what a lovely surprise to have you visit my blog. So, of course I had to return the visit and play catch up on your blog as well. Both of these butterfly cards are so pretty! I love the inky backgrounds you've given them. I also wanted to say that the colors on the layered medallion in your last post are amazing! What gorgeous colors and a beautiful die!! Hope you are well and keeping safe. Hugs to you my friend!
