Happy Friday!
I don't think I am alone when I say I have several boxes of cards that I've made over the past...wells forever years! Although I'm good at passing them on, maybe not so great at signing and mailing them out. I was going through some of my older cards looking for a few sympathy cards. My least favourite to make, especially when one is needed.
My card making style has changed over the years. I am still a CAS loving designer first, I love my white space, but some of my older cards look like they need a refresh! I pulled out a sympathy card I made a couple years ago and I gave it an update before sending it off.
Here is my original card, posted on April 4, 2018!
Love your refresh, Tracey. That is such a great idea, and the die cut details really make your card shine. Oh, and now I need those dies!
ReplyDeleteThe original was lovely and you've given it a wonderful update! I've gone back through and refreshed cards as well. Sometimes I look at them and say, what the heck was I thinking!!
ReplyDeleteRefreshing change, Tracey! and still so pretty!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful, brief and very effective lesson. This simple and easy transformation is amazing and something I will remember! Thanks
ReplyDeleteLove the refresh Tracey, I love panel layers and edge embellishment with dies, so this one is right in my fave zone.
ReplyDeleteYou sure did give this already lovely card a fresh new look, Tracey ... the simple addition of the dimension and that gorgeous Nordic frame (a favourite!) add such pizazz! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sympathy card Tracey, so sweet and sure to bring comfort to those that need it.
