I had a blast using products from both of these companies together. My first card is a triple embossed Christmas card. I used the Quatrefoil Cover Plate die, the Merry Mistletoe die set and the Elegant Christmas stamp set from A Jillian Vance Design to create this sparkly Christmas card. I die cut the Quatrefoil cover plate from white cardstock and adhered it to a white top folding card base.
To make the mistletoe I die cut the three separate sprigs of the mistletoe and the big bow also from white cardstock. I completely cover the die cuts with VersaMark ink and embossed with the WOW Confetti Trio embossing powders in the Fizz and Bang. The mistletoe was glued to the card base on an angle. Then I stamped the word joy from the Elegant Christmas stamp set with VersaMark ink and embossed it with WOW Gold Pearl embossing powder on white cardstock. I fussy cut the word and added it to the card base in the lower right corner of the card. The confetti mixed in the the embossing powder looks just like snow on the mistletoe just from the melted embossing powder!
My second card with made using the A Jillian Vance Design Elegant Christmas stamp set and WOW Gold Pearl embossing powder.
The background was ink blended with Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks. I replaced all the applicators on my mini foam blending tools with the new Scrapbook.com domed foam applicators! What a game changer these are for me--I love them so far! I flicked a bit of clean water onto the panel and set it aside to dry completely. Once dry I stamped the trio of pumpkins from the A Jillian Vance Design Autumn Pumpkins stamp set with VersaFine ink the I did a bit of stamp surgery and cut the work Thankful from the set and also stamped with VersaFine ink. Then I embossed the whole panel with WOW Gold Pearl embossing powder!
Thank you so much for stopping in today for the hop. Don't forget to comment. The next stop of the hop is Verity Biddlecombe, happy hopping!
