Thanks Friend

Happy Monday!

I hope all the mother's out there had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
I spent Sunday with my family going to the garden centre which seems to be a bit of a thing with us each year on Mother's Day. Since we have had an unseasonably cool and rainy spring no 'real' flowers came home this week, we will wait a couple more weeks and hope the weather improves some. So today I came home with a green wreath for my front door and some  faux flowers for me to place on the wreath. I'll be sure to share a photo once it it done.

An update on the flooding here. Things are much better and the town is now focused on recovery efforts. The army reserves have left after being enormously helpful and we are forever thankful for them and all of the volunteers who came together to keep everyone safe, fed and helped and are helping clean up the debris. The water going through the falls is not so violent anymore and the waters are receding along the river. So good news all around!

I have a post and video up on the Birch Press Design blog today for this rainbow card, I hope you head over and let me know what you think...

  3. A beautiful rainbow of sentiments for your wonderful card, Tracey! I'm happy to hear that the flooding has improved in your area. We have had so much rain here. It puts the farmers behind for their planting. I'm hoping and praying for things to dry out soon. Happy belated Mother's Day, take care!!
