Party in the Park - February 2019

Well didn't February go flying by? I don't think I have ever been so happy to see the see the beginning of  March as I am this year.  I know that it has been cold and snowy all over the continent this year but where I live, which is normally snowy, we have just been getting blasted with snow, snow and more snow! So hoping with today's wicked snowstorm that it means that March is coming in like a lion!

As it is the last day of the month it is time for this month's 12 Kits of Occasions post. Lovely Nancy Penir, Artful Notions,  is our hostess this month and what a gorgeous kit she sent out to us all!

Sorry to be a bit late, I have a couple projects to share from this fantastic kit. There will be more coming soon. Thanks for stopping in and  have a great weekend!

Peek-Through Patterns Concord & 9th Guest Design

I am back again today with some new cards using the Concord & 9th February Release!
Today I am showcasing the new Peek-Through Patterns stamps and dies. A fabulously unique set of dies that allow you to cut your sentiment right in the middle of a page. So much fun!!

Hey There Turnabout Concord & 9th Guest Design

Happy to report that my Concord & 9th Guest Design package arrived and today I am posting projects made with the new Hey There Turnabout Stamp and the Hey There dies!

I love it when I can use one stamp set to make a set of cards. The turnabout stamps are perfect for doing that! I made two panels in two different colour schemes and then I was able to make each of the panels into two cards!

For the first colour scheme I used three shades of blue ink along with 1 shade of green. For the second cards I used yellow, orange, purple and pink inks. To create both cards I die cut a 3" circle from the centre of the panels and then chose a colour from the stamped panel to die cut my words and to use as the panel fronts.



The circle was popped up with foam tape, the hello was cut three times and glued together and the banner was added with foam tape!




I repeated this process for the pink card.







For the second set of cards I used the remaining panels to create a frame. I die cut the 'Hey There' sentiment from the Hey There dies, glued the tiny letters inside my frame and added rectangle stamped 'friend' underneath!






I repeated the process for the pink panel...

Concord & 9th Guest Design

Hi there and Happy Saturday! I am so excited to share with you that I am Guest Designing for Concord & 9th this month! I have always been in love with with all of the unique and creative products at Concord & 9th and I am thrilled to be able to share some of that love for them with you this month!

Today would have been my first for the February Release post but the Postmaster had other plans for me and did not get the product into my mailbox in time for this week. Sometimes happy mail travels in record time from the U.S. to Canada and sometimes it really is snail mail. 

However I can still introduce the new Floral Print  stamps & dies with you here today which is the first featured product of another month of incredibly inspired products!

Tag You're It Challenge #80

I am excited today to share that the Tag You're It Challenge is back up and running.

Tag You're It Challenge #80 went live this morning at 9:00 am EST. We are coming back with a few changes and we hope that you like them. The design team is back and we are welcoming alumni team member Donna Mikasa back to the challenge.
