My Weekend Stamping Away

A few weekends ago I went to a crafting retreat and made a record 17 cards! For me that is big, usually on retreats and crafty get together's I am too busy being social and don't come home with much of anything done--lol! Over the past week and the week's to come I am going to share some of these projects. A lot of them were from shoebox swaps, they are so much fun. Basically each person participating designs a card and then puts all the supplies to make that card into a box. Then over the course of the retreat you take a box and recreate the card! We had so many participants this time and what fantastic designs too.  Here are a few that I did, designs created by these super talented friends!

Shoebox swap from Lori Craig.

Shoebox swap card by Lisa Petrella.

Shoebox swap card by Jen Timko.

Shoebox swap cad by Laurie Willison.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  4. Wow--17! I don't go to retreats because I know I would socialize and have a hard time creating! Very cute and beautiful cards!

  5. Oh wow, Tracey, these are all so awesome. I'm sure you had as much fun at the Craft House as we did. Although, I don't know how you had room for as many people as you had. Lol....

  7. It sounds like a wonderful time was had by all, Tracey, and making 17 cards was a great accomplishment. These cards are so different from each other, speaking to the style of the kit creator, and beautifully put together.

It was amazing to experience that amazing house for myself and be with crafting friends. Too bad you didn't hide under one of the beds until the next weekend - we almost met!
