I have a card today for Reverse Confetti Sketch for you to Try #56!
I haven't played along in such a long time which is crazy because I am crazy for Reverse Confetti.
The last few months have been very difficult for me recovering from my collarbone break, and as I write this post I am back in my sling again. This time to protect me from myself? My bone has healed and was cleared by my doctor to go about my life but to be cautious as the soft tissue damage may take some time to heal. After a month of feeling really good I have managed to put too much stress on my arm and I am back to being in quite a bit of pain again. The movements that we do but don't think about are the most painful. So no woe is me, I just have to slow down and use my sling as a reminder to take it easy and heal. Thank you for all the well wishes.
Here is this month's sketch.
...and my interpretation of it.
Sorry to hear about the setback :( I loveeeeeeeeeeeee this card! That puppy is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable Tracey! The papers and the coloring on your little dog are perfect together. Sorry to hear about this set back. Take it easy, hope the pain goes away permanently soon!
ReplyDeleteTracey, Your card is fabulous, the grays with the deep red are so eye catching. You've make what could be a busy sketch look perfectly serene with your color choices. Sending along wishes for healing.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry about the break and the StOOpid pain! Creating is a good way to take your mind off the pain. I really like your take on the sketch and will fiddle around in my craft room today using it as inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAwww...the pup is so cute! Love the bright red hearts and polka dot paper! Great card, Tracey! Hope you heal up and get better very soon, take care!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that you are back in your sling! It is so difficult to take it easy. I am finding that out with just my sprained wrist. It feels much better, so I forget that it's still healing and do too much. I absolutely love your card, Tracey! That little dog is just the sweetest, and I love your red and grey combination!
ReplyDeleteI won this set (and others from RC) from Leigh during the Season's Giving Blog Hop. I love seeing how you painted that little dog and added the patterned paper and hearts, Tracey. Pinned. I'm sorry that you are back in a sling. Do take it easy.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute Tracey! The pop of red on the bow die and hearts is stunning! I love the coloring on that cute pup too!
