SugarPea Designs Mix It Up #34

Time for another new Mix It Up challenge at SugarPea Designs! You have all month to play along with us, and each week several of our designers will share some fresh inspiration with their take on the challenge. Remember the more times you play along during the month, the better chance you have of winning a $50 gift certificate to our store!!!

This is my last post as a Design Team member at SugarPea Designs. The last year has been fun sharing my projects with you.

For my project today I started by choosing a piece of paper from the Spots & Stripes Brights patterned paper collection that was similar to the blue of the inspiration photo and mimics the stripes on the pillow. I masked and stamped my sentiment onto the patterned paper and they die cut the You from navy paper completing my sentiment. The knitting and ball of wool was stamped and die cut from the Knit Wit, Sugar Incentive, stamp set and Copic coloured green like the stripes in the inspiration photo. Those were adhered with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment and the knitting mimic the layout of the sketch. I finished it off with a wood veneer heart.
