It's Monday and time for another new challenge at Muse!
I was excited to ink up my new Happy Hippo set from MFT Stamps. These are such cute images for a birthday card. I have a bunch of birthdays coming up for my nieces and nephews so I love when I get a set that I can use over and over again.
I sponged some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on to a piece of Bristol Smooth paper and then I die cut into a panel using MFT Stamps Blueprints #27. Next I spritzed some water onto the panel and absorbed up the water using paper towel. My card base is a piece of soft stone cardstock and I adhered the bristol panel onto it. The sentiment was stamped on black cardstock with VersaMark and embossed in white and the hippo and balloon images were stamped and Copic coloured. The sentiment and the images were all adhered to the bristol panel with foam tape. Finally I added a few clear, silver Stickles filled sequins and the card was done.
I can't wait for you to visit us at Muse and to see how you are inspired!
