Muse #183

IMG_0577

Happy Monday and time for this week's new Muse challenge!

I created my card by white embossing my Altenew flowers on a piece of Canson watercolour paper. I started with the larger bloom and embossed it, then I masked it and stamped and embossed the smaller bloom. I made my masks using my Scan N Cut.  All the colour was added to my card using Magenta Nuance watercolour powders. I started by putting the masks back over the two flower images and working on the background--I used Turquoise and Green powders. Then once dry I removed the masks and carefully added powders to my flowers using Hot Pink and Golden Yellow. Once that was dry I spritzed the panel with Imagine Crafts Sheer Sparkle Shimmer and cut the panel out using an Avery Elle Die and finally added my sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black.

Can you see the sparkle on the petals?
Much prettier in real life.

  1. Stunning. All that gorgeous color, and your pretty blossoms make one gorgeous card, Tracey. Those blues and greens really make those flowers pop. It even looks like you've created shadows and light around them. Love this!! Hope all is well with you. Bev
