It's here again, the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop summer edition!
All the activity starts today Friday June 17th 6:00 am PST and runs until Friday, June 24th!
I am thinking about meeting a friend for coffee outside in the summertime. I created my background panel with Canson watercolor paper that I watercoloured with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then when the panel was almost dry I splattered a bit more watercolour over it. Once dry I cut out with an MFT Wonky Stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the kraft base with foam tape. Then I used Essentials by Ellen Oh Frappe stamps and designer dies as well as an old Fresh Squeezed Stamp set 'cool beans' image to complete the rest of my scene. The sentiment was embossing in gold. My card ended up having to take a detour mid assembly as it didn't work out exactly as I had planned. So I guess that means making another card later this week.
