A new challenge starts today at Inspired By All the Little Things!
I am the hostess this week with a fun summertime photo that I found on Pinterest for the challenge inspiration. There are so many directions you can go with this one remember it is about how the photo inspires you. Is it the colours, the scene, the theme, certain elements? For me my starting point was the colours that I saw when I looked at it, so I started by sponging a blue background based on the water and I sponged a tiny bit of pink into a few of the lighter areas which I picked up from the tablecloth. The panel was spritzed with water for interest. I chose the flowers as my focal point again grabbing the colours from the bouquet on the table.

ReplyDeleteYour flowers look as if they were made for that exact spot on your card. The watercoloring is fabulous and I was surprised to read you put a touch of pink in with the blue---what a great way to vary the color. This might just be my most favorite card of yours!
