Good Monday morning and time for this week's challenge over at Muse. I am your hostess for this week. I had so much fun creating this card using new to me My Favorite Things Large Desert Blooms. I can't tell you how much I love this stamp set. I conditioned all of the flowers before stamping so that I would get a good impression with the new solid stamps by rubbing an eraser over them and cleaning off with my Absorber cloth. They stamped perfectly using these tips and my MISTI. I rarely stamp a card without my MISTI anymore, so much less ending up in the recycle bin.
After I stamped and die cut my flowers I used my MISTI to assist me on where I wanted to stamp the greenery on my background. By arranging my flowers on the card base before I adhered them it helped my determine exactly where I needed to stamp the images. Next I spritzed my card base with the greenery stamped on it with Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine. Once dry I stamped my sentiment and adhered the flowers adding foam tape to a couple of the blooms for dimension.

This is also for the Simon Says tamps Monday Challenge, April Showers Bring May Flowers challenge. I chose to stamp flowers only.
