Happy Friday!
Well finally after what has seemed like forever, it is warm and sunny and the forecast for the next 15 days is more of the same. I think, touch wood, that we may have seen the last of winter. There is something about nice weather that just makes everything better.
This week my parents came up to spend a few days with me. I really cherish my time spent with them and feel so lucky to have both of them healthy and still in my life and making homemade soup in my kitchen!
My mom and I spent yesterday afternoon and evening hanging out in my craft room making cards and sharing a bottle of wine. My mom put me to shame creating not one, but three birthday cards using MFT Stamps Recipe for Happiness. She was inspired by THIS card made by Julia Stainton, isn't her trio cute?
As for me I am not doing much this weekend. This week was a series of unfortunate events--starting with a sneeze that caused me to pull a muscle in my upper back so now every sneeze aggravates it again. Then on Wednesday I tripped heading into the garage and went down on my knee and one arm into the tall recycle bin! Let's just say scrapes and bruises!
There was no wine involved in this incident--lol!

I loved seeing your folks on FB, Tracey! They look as warm and sweet as you are! And, wow, way to go Mom! Her trio of cards is fantastic!! I'm sorry to hear that your drinking has gotten out of control again. (You know denial is part of the problem!) Okay, in all seriousness, I am sorry! I know you have to be extra careful how you step, but that sneezed-pulled muscle, man, that's just not fair!! Rest, rest, rest so it can unpull itself and relieve your pain. Love and hugs, Darnell xxoo
