Down to the wire for Freshly Made Sketches #226. After a busy weekend of organizing my studio I needed some down time so I made this ombre watercolour panel for the challenge. Then I didn't want to cover it up--lol! So the chevron ribbon is the strip across the card and the bow is my element, I added a few clear sequins just because and a simple sentiment.
This is also for Time Out Challenges #51 where the the theme is Easter or Spring. These colours are definitely both but I put an Easter sentiment inside.
I am also submitting this to this week's Simon Say Stamp Wednesday challenge Touchy Feely. The watercolour paper and ribbon add texture!
Spent a lot of the weekend organizing my studio. Gathering up items that I don't use as often as I once did and now they are ready to go to a new loving home. I have updated my For Sale page if you are interested, more coming this week.
Tracey, Beautiful water colored panel, the colors are so soft and pretty, the ribbon finished it off so well.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty and soft! Love that you used the ribbon only, and a few sequins. Question: after water coloring, what did you use to get your panel so flat? I have stacked under books, used foam/heavy duty tapes and still end up with a little warp!
