I have been keeping up pretty good this time, I like how it pushes me to do some type of colouring every day. Today I used my new Simon Says Stamps Stacking Animals stamp set. I will tell you a few ended up in the recycle bin. I seem to have so much trouble connecting images even when I am right on op of them and with my glasses on. I coloured these little guys today with my ZIG Clean Color Brushes and a waterbrush. I my ZIG's work best, for me anyway, if I wet the image with my brush before applying the colour and then use my waterbrush to move it around. So far I have had the most luck with lighter shades. We are still getting to know one another--lol

ReplyDeleteThis card is just so sweet!! LOVE that image and your watercolor is fabulous. Thank you for the tip about wetting the paper a bit too. I tried to play with them a little last night but it was an epic fail. I could not get it to blend the way I wanted. Even resorted to watching videos. I will give your technique a whirl and hopefully it will work!!
