Another Valentine card, sometimes it is fun to make a card just using patterned paper. I don't use patterned paper that often and when I do in small doses but I see it and I have to get it. I guess I am a hoarder, anyone else--lol? So I made a conscious effort to make a card with Doodlebug's 6 x x6 Sweet Things paper. The sheet with the sentiment using words from John Legend's All of Me just said 'use me'. I have a couple treats to get together for Valentine's day on Saturday, but just one more for this year.
Reading week this week for my kids. We picked up Brooklyn yesterday from school, blizzard and all, and Ben is coming home today. Normally they would drive home together, but she finished on Thursday and Ben had presentations Friday night and wouldn't be coming home until Saturday. Since she was sick most of the week and still is, we went and got her. We ended up with another foot of snow on top of the foot we already had. We are certainly getting our share of snow here, growing up and living near Lake Ontario we didn't usually have as much snow. Here in Muskoka it is pretty normal, Sometimes I feel like we are living in a snow globe.
Have a fabulous weekend!
cute! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteGood job getting the girl...all that snow would have been too much for me! My girl is coming home for the weekend too.

I am a definate hoarder! I just don't know how to use patterned paper! Lovely card, and what a great idea to add that strip.
ReplyDeleteLove the sweet Valentine's card, Tracey. Perfect colors in my world!! Hoping I don't jinx it here, we've had a light snow winter. I don't mind the cold, even the really, really cold, but all that snow makes it so hard to get around! Hope your daughter feels better, and that life in your snowglobe is warm and wonderful. Happy Valentine's Day. Bev
