CCC #170

It's time for a new Cue Card at CASology
This week's Cue is:

My great idea this week was to make an autumn coloured heart using my ZIG pens. However, I still learning with them and no matter what I did I either got my colours too dark or the transition was too harsh. After countless tries I ended up going with on of the lighter hearts because the was the one that spoke to me--LOL!

Pop over and have a look at what the rest of the Design Team has created to inspire you...

  1. Were you using water or just the markers? Water helps sometimes. Love the non-traditional colour and the stitching!

  11. Aww, adorable! Love the spacing of your sentiment and how it's perfectly balanced with your colored heart. For such a CAS card like this, it's the perfect opportunity to feature an interesting word like "smitten". Well done, Tracey!

  13. A lovely CAS card with that bright heart, Tracey. I find that the secret to using Zigs is in the paper. I use either Bristol or multi-media paper.

  14. Wonderful CAS card, Tracey. Personally, I love this little heart. It has 'early Fall' colors; when the leaves are just starting to turn. And the heart itself....love the pierced edges. Hope to play along too with CASology this time! Bev
