Watercolor Blog Hop

IMG_8150

Popping in at the very ast minute with a card for the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop!

First time in my studio in over a week! I am having some serious withdrawl, to go from spending every moment I could creating to closing my eyes when I pass the door has been hard. I have been busy getting things in order so that I can come back in here and do what I love to do.

I have seen so many beautiful cards and I just want to practice practice practice to get better with watercolouring. As soon as I saw Lindsay Amrhein's card and smooshing technique HERE I wanted to try it out. It didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped but smooshing over top of white embossing is so fun. I'm definitely going to try it again.

  32. I found out I'd been doing smooshing all wrong. I was doing it the Kristina Werner way which is okay but different. Even less control than the acetate way. Your smooshing turned out great and I love it over the chevrons.
