Popping in at the very ast minute with a card for the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop!



First time in my studio in over a week! I am having some serious withdrawl, to go from spending every moment I could creating to closing my eyes when I pass the door has been hard. I have been busy getting things in order so that I can come back in here and do what I love to do.

I have seen so many beautiful cards and I just want to practice practice practice to get better with watercolouring. As soon as I saw Lindsay Amrhein's card and smooshing technique HERE I wanted to try it out. It didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped but smooshing over top of white embossing is so fun. I'm definitely going to try it again.

    Oh my, this is GORGEOUS!! You rock at watercolors, Tracey! Love the variations of colors with the Ombre Effect! So glad that you join the fun over Virginia’s View “Ombre/Monochromatic” Challenge!

    Fab card Tracey! Love that you left the edges of the panel unfinished so it looks totally casual but with an eye catching burst of color, love it! TFS!

    I found out I'd been doing smooshing all wrong. I was doing it the Kristina Werner way which is okay but different. Even less control than the acetate way. Your smooshing turned out great and I love it over the chevrons.
