I am so excited to share with you today that I am the Guest Designer for Muse: ChristmasVisions #4.
I am happy to be getting back into making Christmas cards again. This year I will be ready.

For my card I had some fun playing with a few techniques. Maybe some more layers and elements in my design than my usual CAS style but I do love the texture and dimension. I started by blending some Distress Inks for my sky--I used Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar. The pink shows up better in person. Then I used my Falling Snow stencil and white embossing paste for my snow and then carefully added my sentiment. In retrospect, I think I should have added the sentiment before the embossing paste. Then I added my snowdrifts with foam tape and then trees that were cut from some papers from Fancy Pants Oh Deer!
I hope that you come over to Muse: Christmas Visions and play along this week!
Well after 5 and 1/2 weeks of being home while the high school teachers in our board have been on strike they were legislated back to work today. So up bright and early to get to school. We got the call last evening and it was a bit of a shock for my daughter, who said they didn't give us much warning! I gave her the teenage eye roll! Really?
