Squeaking in with a last minute card for Muse: Christmas Visions 2!
This past weekend was the Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada and DD and I decided at the last minute to go up to the cottage when she finished work on Sunday. It was lovely to get up to the lake, but man were the mosquito's huge! Good news it seems we have escaped the blackflies this year but the mosquitoes are hungry. My poor little Sam got a mosquito bite right on his eyelid, so a bath before bed and then cuddled into a blanket on my bed and he fell right asleep.
We just got home a couple of hours ago and I had a moment to sit down and make a card. This is Chriss's inspiration:
...and this is what I did. My Papertrey Ink Pinecones & Pine saw ink for the very first time ever! I think it is time to take a good look at what I already have.
As hard as it is to come home after a few days at the lake I was thrilled to come home to my lilac in bloom and the annuals have taken root.
Gorgeous photos and I love this one layer beauty!
