I made a couple cards for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge #209
I have been in love with white on white for a while now and this 'technique' can be used for just about any stamp and die set. It makes a quick and easy card!
Using one of my favourite coffee sets and dies...
I am on a bit of a butterfly kick these days, so I created a little ombre one for this next card. The butterfly in covered completely in Wink of Stella which really gives it a magical look IRL!
Wink of Stella detail...
I am also submitting these to the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge Blog - Clean and Simple.
Wednesday I drove my son up to Muskoka to start his summer job today. He will be staying at his girlfriend's parents house again this summer. So he has a surrogate Mom for the summer who definitely spoils him--LOL. Driving up there we went through all types of weather--sun, rain, hail, snow and then repeat! I know that we are not the only place in North America that has and is having crazy weather this year. Honestly I do not ever remember seeing snow at the end of April.
When we got home it was sunny, then cloudy and then it started snowing here! Just a couple week's ago the Robin's started to appear and I thought spring was finally here. I had to video tape this out my kitchen door today, the poor thing probably wondering what the heck what happening...
Happy to report that Brooklyn got a phone call on Tuesday from the Home Depot about 20 minutes from here that they had her driver's license and some of her other cards that they found on the property when doing some spring clean up the other day. We went to the store and the manager had her license, her debit card, her Social Insurance Card and her Employee card. Most of them we have already set the wheels in motion to replace but we are really happy to report that her ID is not floating around out there. She was happy to receive these items back but angry that someone thought so little of a person's ID to just throw it away, another tough lesson to learn.
Oh these are fabulous Tracey. Oh I gotta try this.
